We have real skin in the game
Warren Buffett has often talked about the importance of “putting skin in the game” in reference to company executives showing their confidence by putting their own investable net worth (their own skin) into the business.
We couldn’t agree more so here is our commitment to our investors:
- The Portfolio Managers will have 100% of our investable net worth in the Fund.
- The Portfolio Managers will only manage this one Fund.
- The Portfolio Managers are prohibited from owning any publicly-traded equities outside of the Fund.
We will be eating our own cooking. We cannot promise results nor can we forecast the short term movements in the stock market or the securities we own.
However, we can promise that 100% of our money will be invested in the Fund and that 100% of our effort will be spent on trying to find excellent investment opportunities.
